Pedestrian Killed in Motorcycle Crash

A pedestrian has died after being struck by a motorcycle in the South End shortly before 9 p.m. on Sunday night, police reported.

The accident occurred on Massachusetts Avenue near Washington Street. The portion of Mass Ave. between Harrison and Washington was shut down Sunday night as detectives investigated.

No arrests were made in the incident, police said, and as of Monday afternoon, no charges had been filed against the motorcycle driver, who was reportedly not injured.
