First responders from Boston got a brush with fame on Sunday when they got to meet Ryan Reynolds and Jeff Bridges, the stars of the new movie R.I.P.D., a film about deceased police ("Rest In Peace Department) that was partially shot in Boston.

The Hollywood stars met members of the police and fire departments from Boston and Watertown, along with the MIT Police and other heroes of the Boston Marathon Bombings and subsequent capture of the suspects, according to a story in the Boston Globe.

Catching a movie at the Regal Fenway theaters provided the first responders a nice way to relax after the recent events in and around the Hub, Boston Police Superintendent Daniel Linsky told the Globe.
