With the State Primary now behind us and the election results certified, the Secretary of State is currently preparing the ballots for the November 3rd election. We should have the ballots here in Stoneham by the end of September/early October at which time they will be mailed out as quickly as possible to those who have requested to vote by mail.

Anyone wishing to vote on November 3rd must be registered by October 24th (including those turning 18 years of age on or before November 3rd).

The Secretary of State will be sending out a second round of mail in request postcards to those voters who have not yet requested a ballot by mail as well as voter guides to the questions that will be on the ballot in November.

For those voting early by mail, as with the State Primary, voted ballots may be returned to the drop box located at the side entrance to the Town Hall adjacent to the parking lot instead of mailing.

There will be two weeks of in person early voting at the Town Hall from October 17-30th including weekends. A schedule of times will be published on the web site by the beginning of October.
