Queen Elsa Gives Boston Police A Hand In Blizzard

The "Frozen" hero helped free a police wagon stuck in the snow in the South End Tuesday night.

BOSTON, MA – Boston police trying to free their wagon from the snow in the South End Tuesday night had some help from a surprise visitor. "Frozen" hero Queen Elsa, on a tropical vacation from her much colder and snowier home of Arendelle, stopped to lend a hand to officers.

In the encounter, filmed by Boston resident Christopher Haynes, the royal helps direct the officer behind the wheel and pushes the vehicle from the back. "Elsa," aka 37-year-old attorney Jason Triplett, told the Boston Globe he was at dinner with a few friends Tuesday night and wore the costume as a joke.

When he saw the wagon struggling, he jumped at the chance to help and urged his friends to take pictures and videos to share between them. But it was Haynes' video that became an internet hit, clocking in at over 2.2 million views as of Wednesday morning.
