Sexual Assault In South End On St. Patrick's Day: Boston Police

Police are looking to identify this person in connection with the reported assault.

UPDATE: Police have identified and arrested the man.

SOUTH END, MA — Police are asking for the public's help to identify a person wanted in connection to a sexual assault that was happened Sunday in the middle of the day.

"We're going to do everything we can to arrest this person," Mayor Marty Walsh told reporters earlier.

Boston Police released the image of the person who is accused of sexually assaulting someone Sunday, March 17. about 2 p.m. at a business on Harrison Avenue in the South End.

Anyone with information about the suspect’s identity is asked to call detectives assigned to the Sexual Assault Unit at (617) 343-4400.

Police told Patch because the age of the person who reported the attack was part of the investigation, they would not release it.
