South End Police Log: Armed Robbery and Prostitution Charges

The following arrests took place in the South End between Friday, April 15 and Thursday, April 21. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Friday, April 15

Kris Jennings, of 90 West Newton St., #1, was arrested around 11:20 a.m. at 794 Tremont St. and charged with possession of a class A substance (heroin).

Aderemi Harris, of 125 Longsdale St., #2, Dorchester, was arrested around 2:55 p.m. at 219 Shawmut Ave. and charged with possession of a class B substance with intent to distribute.

Said Benagour, of 444 Harrison Ave., was arrested around 2 p.m. at 440 Mass Ave. and charged with annoying and accosting.

Saturday, April 16

Jerome Tibbs, of 444 Harrison Ave. and Kenneth Brooks, of 11 Winthrop St., #2, Roxbury, were arrested around 3:25 a.m. on Gray Street and charged with unarmed street robbery.

Kevin McMillan, of 33 Dennis St., Roxbury, was arrested around 6:23 p.m. at 139 East Berkeley St. and charged with possession of a class D substance with intent to distribute.

Sunday, April 17

John Cavaleri, of 5245 Washington St., West Roxbury, was arrested around 3:50 a.m. on Tremont St. and charged with larceny from a vehicle under $50.

Marc Derouen, of 69 East Main St., Norton, was arrested around 3:50 p.m. at 840 Harrison Ave. and charged with larceny under $50.

Edward Torres, of 444 Harrison Ave., was arrested around 8:26 p.m. at 260 East Berkeley St. and charged with possession of a class B substance (cocaine).

Monday, April 18

Carlo Diaz, of 780 Alston St., Cambridge, was arrested around 1 p.m. on Lenox St. and charged with larceny from a vehicle under $50.

Shawn Hall, of 20 Reynold St, New Bedford, was arrested around 6:30 p.m. at 363 Albany St. and charged with assault and battery.

Tuesday, April 19

Soney MacDonald, of 360 Albany St., was arrested around 5:10 p.m. at 650 Harrison Ave. and charged with assault and battery on a police officer.

Angel DeJesus, of 212A Dudley St., A, Roxbury, was arrested around 6:15 p.m. on Warren St. and charged with breaking and entering a residence during the day.

Wednesday, April 20

Marcus Smith, of 35 Cunard St., #2 and Von Cameron, 162 Devon St., Dorchester, were arrested around 2:10 p.m. at 19 St. Cyprians Place and charged with attempted street robbery involving a firearm.

Axel Brooks, of 444 Harrison Ave., was arrested around 3:05 p.m. at 14 East Brookline St. and charged with assault and battery.

Stephen Preston, of 444 Harrison Ave., was arrested around 1:30 p.m. at 732 Harrison Ave. and charged with receiving stolen property.

Holly Pearl, of 401 Holly Ave., San Francisco, CA, was arrested around 9 p.m. at 650 Harrison Ave. and charged with prostitution.

Thursday, April 21

Nicole Bither, of 888 Harrison Ave., was arrested around 3:22 p.m. at 771 Albany St. and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (knife).
