South End Police Log: Assault and Larceny Charges

The following arrests took place in the South End between Friday, July 22 and Thursday, July 28. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Friday, July 22

Michael Eugene Derubbo, of 444 Harrison Ave., was arrested around 3:43 a.m. on East Berkeley St. and charged with assault and battery.

Yina Santana, of 220 Northampton St., C, was arrested around 3:37 p.m. at 220 Northampton St. and charged with possession of a class B substance with intent to distribute.

Alex Sierra, of 203 Hillside St., #2, Roxbury, was arrested around 3:40 p.m. at 220 Northampton St. and charged with possession of a class A substance with intent to distribute.

Saturday, July 23

Luis Matos-DeJesus, of 560 Mass Ave., #5, was arrested around 2:34 a.m. on Camden St. and charged with possession of a dangerous firearm/weapon.

Ronicia Kennerly, of 23 Wellington St., #2, was arrested around 3:05 p.m. at 430 Mass Ave. and charged with assault and battery.

Sunday, July 24

No arrests.

Monday, July 25

Mark Fernandez, of 39 Boylston St., was arrested around 1:45 p.m. on Mass Ave. and charged with assault and battery.

John Quinn, of 444 Harrison Ave., around 7:34 p.m. at 1525 Washington St. and charged with larceny over $200 (bicycle).

Tuesday, July 26

Eugenio Rodriguez, of 618 Shawmut Ave., was arrested around 9:35 a.m. at 1603 Washington St. and charged with larceny $50-199.

Daniel Kilroy, of 162 Glenway St., Dorchester, was arrested around 4:30 p.m. at 650 Columbus Ave. and charged with larceny $50-199.

A juvenile was arrested around 7 a.m. on Mass Ave. and charged with receiving stolen property.

Wednesday, July 27

Yusuf Ali, of 804 Tremont St., was arrested around 10:12 a.m. on Harrison Ave. and charged with assault and battery.

Steven Raymond, of 39 Boylston St., was arrested around 7:30 p.m. on East Berkeley St. and charged with larceny in a building under $50.

Dwayne Nelson, of 73 Nightingale Ave., Quincy, was arrested around 8:40 p.m. at 1222 Washington St. and charged with possession of a class A substance (heroine). 

Thursday, July 28

Shannon Taylor, of 65 Valley St. 4G, Medford, was arrested around 5:50 a.m. at 145 Dartmouth St. and charged with assault and battery on a police officer.

Michael Jones, homeless, was arrested around 1:35 p.m. at 1959 Washington St. and charged with assault and battery.
