South End Police Log: Prostitution and Drug Charges
Arrests in the South End from Sept. 23 - 29.

The following information was furnished by the Boston Police Department. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Friday, September 23
Frank Whitney, of 444 Harrison Ave., was arrested around 6 p.m. at 715 Tremont St. and charged with failure to register as a sex offender.

Sunday, September 25
Angel Castro, of 444 Harrison Ave., was arrested around 5:10 p.m. at 1113 Washington St. and charged with possession of a class B substance (cocaine).
Monday, September 26
Thomas Banks, of 444 Harrison Ave., was arrested around 1:07 a.m. at 1113 Washington St. and charged with larceny over $200.
Ruth Leroe, of 10 Felton St., Saugus, was arrested around 4:08 p.m. at 840 Harrison Ave. and charged with possession of a class A substance (heroin).
Maxwell Sylvia, of 2 Durfee St., New Bedford, was arrested around 9:41 p.m. at 273 East Berkeley St. and charged with larceny over $200.
Tuesday, September 27
David Mayer, of 21 Michigan Ave., Somerville, was arrested around 10 a.m. on East Berkeley St. and charged with larceny from a motor vehicle over $200.
Wednesday, September 28
Regan Tims, of 366 Albany St., was arrested around 12:30 a.m. on Harrison Ave. and charged with prostitution/soliciting.
Tara Johnson, of 67 Blake St., Mattapan, was arreted around 9 a.m. at 850 Harrison Ave. and charged with assault and battery.
Luis Quinones, of 820 Mass Ave., Cambridge, was arrested around 1:50 p.m. at 780 Albany St. and charged with possession of a class C substance.
Thursday, September 29
