South End Sidewalk Sale This Weekend
Shop at your favorite local South End businesses outside on Friday, Saturday and Sunday this week.

More than 20 South End businesses will be spilling their wares out onto the streets this weekend, and no, it's not something you'll need to report on Citizen's Connect.
The annual South End Sidewalk Sale is here, where local South End merchants will display their best stuff out on the street with sales and specials.
Take a stroll down Tremont, Waltham Street, Shawmut and Washington Street on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, (August 23 to August 25) for the higher density participating stores, but make sure you don't leave out a trip up Clarendon Street, too.
Among those participating this year is the Polka Dog Bakery, Lekker Home, the South End Athletic Company, Restoration Resources, and new business Farm & Fable. You can see a full list of participating businesses here. Each store has different opening and closing hours throughout the weekend, so you'll want to check in with your favorite places before you stop by.
The event each year is produced and sponsored by the South End Business Alliance.
"We love pulling together the entire neighborhood to present a really good offering," said Nicole Vale, owner of Coco Baby and SEBA member. "It’s a great event that brings the whole neighborhood together, said Nicole Vale, owner of Coco Baby and SEBA member.
Vale said it's also a great opportunity for folks who live outside of the South End to come get a taste of what the South End has to offer.
"This is our big launch back into shopping season and it’s really exciting," Vale said.
