Thanksgiving Eve Robbery Reported on West Concord St.
Police say a female was robbed of her iPod and purse while walking toward Shawmut Ave.

An 18-year-old was arrested and charged with unarmed robbery and possession of a weapon Wednesday night after police say she and three others assaulted a woman on West Concord Street, robbing her of her iPod and bag.
Officers responding to a call around 10:15 p.m. on Thanksgiving Eve found the victim near the intersection of Aguadilla and Tremont Streets, just a block from where she was allegedly assaulted while walking toward Shawmut Avenue. The victim told police she was approached from both directions by two men and two women who pushed her to the ground while grabbing for her cell phone and purse, according to a report.
During a subsequent search of the area, police located two females matching the victim’s description, but the victim was only able to positively identify one. The suspect, Yvette Ruiz, 18 of Boston, was charged with unarmed robbery and possession of a dangerous weapon after a large folding knife was found on her person, police said.
