Yard Waste Collection Starts This Week

The city will collect yard waste on regular recycling days through May 20.

1. Apparently we're in for a rainy week, starting today. The forecast is predicting a 50% chance of showers with highs in the mid-50s and light winds around 5 mph.

2. If you're doing some yard work, remember the city's available to pick up your leaves on regular recycling days starting today through May 20. Just be sure to put your yard waste in large paper leaf bags or open barrels (ideally labeled "yard waste").
