Active Paw Pet Supply Closing

After five years in business, Active Paw Pet Supply at 80 Trapelo Road in Waltham is closing its doors to focus on cat sitting and dog walking.

“Closing the store will allow us to focus on what we do best: providing excellent care for people’s pets, as we have been doing since 2003,” said Cara Armour, owner, in an announcement. “While the store was a dream to have, it was not sustainable based on location, new big box stores opening up and the prevalence of online purchasing. We can now focus our efforts and availability to our pet care clients, where before the store shifts put pressure on our staff’s availability.”
