Barrington Residents Can Report Nuisance Illegal Fireworks

Barrington police want to hear from those bothered by this year's barrage of illegal fireworks blasts on the non-emergency line.

BARRINGTON, RI β€” Barrington police wants residents who have had enough of nightly illegal fireworks blasts in town to report them.

Police urge resident not to call 911 due to being fed up with fireworks β€”until there is damage or injury that makes it an actual emergency β€” but to call the dispatch line at 401-437-3930 to make any reports.

Police also advise residents to refer to the state fire marshal's website to determine which fireworks are OK and which ones are illegal in RI.

Police also remind residents that no fireworks of any kind will be allowed on town property on July 3 or July 4.
