"The Carnival Keepers" by Amber Gulley is one of my absolute personal favourites. Escapism, Steampunk notes, sweet garish garnishes... I am looking forward to reading it again on one of these desolate wind whispering nights.

"Horror Island" by Frances Forster is a newbie twist on tantalizing terrifying storylines. The "Walking Dead" fans in your life will be thrilled with the gnarly chilling twists Ms. Forster nightmarishingly dreams up.
