Byron English, Dispatcher, Waltham High Grad, Dies At 54
Byron English finished high school at Waltham High in 1984 and went on to attend Bunker Hill Community College.

Byron Linford English was born September 3, 1965, on the Island of Jamaica WI to Adolphus and Viola English (Mayhew). He died March 23 in Orlando, Florida at his home. He was 54.
He was predeceased by mother, father, three sisters and one brother. He is the youngest of 12 siblings. He died leaving siblings (in order of age) Richard Mayhew, Norma Wint (English) and her husband Allan, Rupert English and wife Anita, Egbert English and wife Beverly, Aldern English and wife Marie, Dudley English and wife Maxine, in Massachusetts, and sister Gwendolyn English who resides in Orlando, Florida.

He also left several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
He attended St. Catherine High School in Jamaica WI for 2 years then he migrated to the U.S. to join his mother in Boston, where he finished high school at Waltham High in 1984 and went on to attend Bunker Hill Community College.

He graduated from Bunker Hill with a degree in Communications. He then landed a job at National Car Rental as a manager, where he worked there for several years.
Then he transferred to Orlando, FL to continue working for National. After many years, he decided to change course and obtained a job working for the Orlando Police department as a dispatcher where he worked endless hours.
Bryon has been the spokesperson for several family affairs and for his friends.
He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.
The family has said there will be a private burial ceremony with close family and friends at some time in the future.
