The Waltham City Council met Monday evening to discuss and legislate matters in our city. Among the issues were the Fernald School, the Council on Aging, playgrounds, Waltham High School, Autism Awareness, Arbor Day, Earth Day, Poultry Raising, and Stonehearst.
The next City Council Meeting will be on Monday, April 22, 2019 at 7:30PM. This meeting is open to the public. To participate, simply attend the meeting at the Council Chamber at City Hall, 610 Main Street, Waltham, MA.
Attending meetings is the best way to witness what is happening in our local government. This way we can communicate knowledgeably, and form opinions based on first-person factual observations.

"I am not sure when City Council was put off by the demeanor of the presenters, maybe the odd comments about the structural design... or when Ward Councilor Dan Romard asked very specific questions about this... and instead heard promises of landscaping and bike racks. It was a simple structural question.

"The developers should have packed it up and rescheduled after Ward Councilor Robert Logan questioned them on the square footage and their calculations being off, best part was when he asked them if they have permission to build from the owner and you could hear a pin drop.
"Instead of a gracious opportunity to end the meeting with details and commitment to the city, they had been reduced to only banter.
"These words are the sole expression of my visit in hope that others will attend a city meeting or watch it on TV."
