A Cut Above: Who's Waltham's Favorite Hair Stylist?

There is some discrepancy about when Hairstylists Appreciation Day falls.

Didn’t know there was one? There is, and lots of people know all about it. While many sites listing daily holidays cite April 30 as the day to appreciate hairstylists, this editor’s go-to site for such things, brownielocks.com, says it was April 25 (and that the sponsor of the day changed it in 2012 from April 30).

Regardless if this celebration of haircutters falls on the 25th or the 30th, Waltham is passionate about who styles their hair. And with good reason. A bad hair day can ruin the day, but a bad hair cut can destroy a few weeks, or even your life. You need a hairstylist who can keep up with the trends, but respect if you’ve got a mullet you’ve carefully shaped since 1982.

Last week, we posed the question on Waltham Patch’s Facebook page: who’s the best hairstylist in Waltham? We got a variety of answers, comments, and many likes upon those comments and answers.

Judging by our Facebook poll, Crystal Soly Case and many other stylists at Sapphire Salon and Michelle Selden at Evolve Hair Designs ran away with the most votes and comments.
