Free Concert Sponsored by Strom Family
The Reminisants play on the common this Tuesday in memory of Lena Strom

Waltham's Tuesday evening concerts are a number one hit with local families and individuals! The Waltham Arts Council and Watertown Savings Bank host a variety of musical acts throughout the summer. With light and sound provided by Everett & Sons Insurance, the Waltham Common is transformed into an outdoor music arena.
This Tuesday, the Reminisants will bring the party with tunes from the 1950s through 1990s. Local band Members Dom Viscione, Mike Joyal, Peter Veneto, Mark Poulin,, Jack Colombo, Doug Tybor, and Joe Foster, love nothing more than to get their audience dancing.

Tuesday's event holds special meaning for many in our community. The Strom family is sponsoring the all-ages celebration in memory of their matriarch, Lena Strom. She created a legacy of outreach, humour, and a sense of community within her family of six children. They continue her spirit of friendship in Waltham, and are delighted to share her love of music on Tuesday.

The Strom name might be familiar to most people with longtime ties to Waltham. Even Breezers will recognize the accomplishments of Patti Strom. She is a valued volunteer at the Waltham Museum, and is the woman responsible for bringing physical nostalgia of Grover Cronin's back to Waltham in a brand new exhibit. She is also assistant treasurer at the Waltham Arts Council, and is known to exuberantly pitch in to help, always offering a friendly smile. Her continual devotion to supporting our cityβs culture of art and history can inspire all of us to be good neighbours.
All you need in order to enjoy this Tuesday's free concert on the Waltham common is yourself and a willingness to have fun!
