Full-Service Eye Care Center Moves to Waltham
MERSI moves its full-care eye center to a new location in Waltham.

The Massachusetts Eye Research & Surgery Institution (MERSI) recently announced its moving its full-service eye care, speciality services to a new location on Main Street in Waltham.
The relocation to Waltham, said the announcement, will assist MERSI with their βquest to create the most pleasant and efficient patient experience possible.β

The new space is located at 1440 Main St., just off Route 95, and features a 35 percent increase in capacity from the old spot, as well as doubling the number of exam rooms. The center also enhanced its diagnostic testing capabilities and doubled the number of infusion chairs.
βOur new location gives our eye care professionals a state-of-the-art facility to better service our loyal clients,β said MERSI Founder and President C. Stephen Foster, MD, in a statement. βOur new comfortable and convenient location also gives us the opportunity to better accommodate full-service eye care for patients of all ages and needs.β

Clients will have access to a full menu of diagnostic services, a 24-hour on-call doctor for emergencies and a CLIA-certified diagnostic immunopathology lab for ocular tissue. MERSI also offers co-management for Cataract surgery and care. The full-service facility provides comprehensive care and treatment of corneal and inflammatory diseases in addition to general eye care.
