Home Depot Hiring Spree Coming to Waltham

WALTHAM, MA - Home Depot announced earlier this month that it would be going on a spring hiring spree and now the company is making good on that promise.

The superstore is hosting a hiring event in Framingham to fill 50 job openings at the Waltham, Natick, Shrewsbury and Worcester stores, Home Depot announced.

The event is part Home Depot’s initiative to hire 80,000 associates nationally for the busy spring season.

The hiring event will be held on Thursday, Feb. 18 from 10 a.m to 6 p.m at the Sheraton Framingham located at 1657 Worcester Road, Framingham.

Candidates are encouraged to apply online before attending but walk-ins are welcome. To apply select “In Store Hourly” and enter your desired location.

Here are four tips to help you nail your interview provided by Home Depot.

1. Take some time to research The Home Depot. Making a good first impression is all about being prepared. Before your interview, visit our stores to learn about our different departments and products. Think about potential interview questions relevant to the position you’re applying for, and practice how you plan to answer those questions.
2. Relax and be yourself. Be confident and let your personality shine. We want to get to know you and see your enthusiasm about the opportunity to work in our stores.
3. Tell us what’s unique about you. Do you speak any additional languages? Do you have any specific interests or relevant experience? This is your chance tell us what sets you a part from the crowd.
4. Be ready to share how you like to serve customers. At The Home Depot, excellent customer service is at the core of our values.
