Springwell's year end campaign raises funds to support local seniors and caregivers

Last year, Springwell celebrated its 40th anniversary as a non-profit dedicated to providing services that support local seniors and caregivers as they cope with the challenges that accompany aging. Springwell serves people in the towns of Belmont, Brookline, Needham, Newton, Waltham, Watertown, Wellesley, and Weston with services like Meals on Wheels, In-Home Support, and Caregiver Support. Each year, Springwell delivers 230,000 meals and more than 1 million hours of in-home support to about 4,000 local families.

This year Springwell's β€œHome for the Holidays” campaign is asking members of our local communities to support their senior friends, family and neighbors with a donation. The campaign, looking to raise $20,000, will fund Springwell’s Elder Independence Fund. Underwritten entirely by private donations, the fund helps local seniors and their caregivers pay for the small necessities that can make a big difference in helping them to live in the place they love best: home.

To make a donation, visit Springwell's website at www.springwell.com or mail to 307 Waverley Oaks Rd. Suite 205, Waltham, MA 02452
