The on-ramp between Route 125 and Route 8 in Andover was blocked as the 100 foot tall balloon deflated. The pilot and passengers, including a WGBH film crew, survived with no major injuries.
Winds related to air temperatures may be a factor in the balloon's inability to land smoothly.
