WALTHAM, MA – Another Christmas has come and gone, and now it's time to dispose of the tree before you're wading through pine needles to get to the kitchen.
Here's how you can get rid of your Christmas tree in Waltham:
The City of Waltham provides curbside pickup of Christmas trees on your regularly scheduled trash/recycling day for three weeks after Christmas. Trees must be placed outside on the curb before Jan. 20 to be picked up.

You can also drop off your trees at these two locations:

  • Nipper Maher Park - 65 Dartmouth Street (South St Entrance)
  • Graverson Playground - 16 Pine Vale Road

Remove all lights, ornaments, plastic bags and stands. The recycling doesn't work with wreaths that contain metal rims.Patch reporter Jenna Fisher can be reached at Jenna.Fisher@patch.com or by calling 617-942-0474. Follow her on Twitter and Instagram (@ReporterJenna).
