I-95/Rt.128 Lane Restrictions, Roadblocks In Waltham, Woburn
MassDOT is telling drivers headed through Waltham and Woburn along Route 128/I-95 Monday and Tuesday next week to beware.

WALTHAM, MA β As crews work to install new signs along a stretch of I-95, there will be overnight lane closures and rolling roadblocks on sections of the highway next week in Waltham and in Woburn, according to MassDOT.
The work is part of a $2.8 million project to install new variable message signs and related Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) components along various highways.
Watch for closures and delays the evening of Monday, Feb. 11, on Route 128/I-95 northbound in Woburn between Exit 34 (Winn Street) and Exit 35 (Route 38).
And then again the next evening, Tuesday, Feb. 12, on Route 128/I-95 southbound in Waltham between Exit 27A (Totten Pond/Third Avenue) and Exit 26 (Route 20) watch for delays.
The lane closures will be in place between 10 p.m., and 5 a.m., and there may be rolling road blocks after midnight. All lanes will be re-opened for travel by 5 a.m. the following morning.
Signs, traffic control devices and law enforcement details will be used to guide drivers through the work zone. MassDOT said drivers should slow down and use caution while approaching and traveling through the work zone and allow for extra time through this area. All work is weather dependent and is subject to change without notice.
