ICYMI: Eversource to Conduct Vegetation Maintenance in Waltham

WALTHAM, MA – Eversource Energy announced last week it will begin vegetation maintenance work in Waltham on one of its transmission right-of-ways in the fall or winter.

The maintenance will include the selective removal of hazard trees located along or just beyond the right-of-way edge. This work is required to comply with Eversource's clearance program requirements, which ensure vegetation does not come into contact with the transmission system.

Property owners in Waltham along this right-of-way have been informed of this work, and tree removals beyond the limits of the plane have been discussed ahead of time.
