February provided a little snow, a lot of chocolate, and a month-long literary extravaganza! In addition to my monthly Lucci's List (thank you readers for your recommendations), I was thrilled to meet up with Waltham book lovers at a variety of unique events!

Waltham Steampunk Festival geared up at the NEMES exhibition at the Charles River Museum of Industry and Innovation!

Self-Published author panel at the Charles River Museum of Industry and Innovation co-sponsored by the Waltham Public Library! Featured independent authors Faye Rapoport DesPres, Herb Pearce, Glede Browne Kabongo, and Tilia Klebenov Jacobs all joined in conversation and answered questions about the ins-and-outs of the publishing world.

The Stupid Cupid Steampunk Ball featured New England authors including Dexter Herron and (ME!).

March always makes me think of Saint Patrick's Day. So this month I am including multiple events featuring Irish-American authors and themes. Other events will relate to additional holidays and observed days: Evacuation Day, Lent, Spring Equinox, Purim, National Viet Nam Veterans Day. I strive to find free and low-cost events so the entire community can come together. Please contact me if your group is sponsoring a community event!

Sunday 3 - Brookline Booksmith 9AM-9PM: Author Michael Levin will write an entire novel in 12 hours to raise funds for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's Boston Marathon Team. Visitors may donate and add their own ideas and suggestions to the novel!
