A Love Letter From Martha Ventura

To celebrate Valentine’s Day, we asked Patch readers to write a love letter to that special someone and let us deliver it. This is Martha Ventura’s love letter to her husband:

Dear Chulo,

I want to find the right words to tell you how much you mean to me. I can’t seem to put into words how incredible you make me feel when I am around you. It was that moment when I was only 15 and you made my heart skip a beat that I knew I had fallen head over heels for you.

The day you asked me to marry you, I knew that I was ready to embark in a life long journey with my best friend. It was the many nights that you patiently rocked our infant son to sleep that made me realize that you would make the most loving father any child could ever wish for. Spending my life by your side as your girlfriend, partner and wife has been the greatest blessing of my existence.
