Lucci's List: Literally Waltham

Summer Reading 2018

Summer reading is a magical phrase. It can invoke dreadful angst among students who do not consider themselves to be bookish, and yet it can also transform an ordinary human being into a dreamy eyed adventurer. I believe that everyone can experience the enchantment of a good story; the right book will cast its spell.

I have sifted through my "to-read" pile and added some brilliant new books that will attract teen, young adult, and adult readers. I have a soft heart for the classics, but I am branching out this summer to include a collection of modern books that will inspire and entertain. The list I have created has an emphasis on local (to me) authors, as well as independent authors. You can find most of these titles at your local bookstore, and if it is not in stock, you could ask the book seller to order it for you.

As the summer progresses, I will share my reviews of many of these books, and I welcome your thoughts too! Please let me know what books are on YOUR summer reading list. I will be reading and writing with anticipation!
