Obituary: Harold Manley, 65, of Waltham

The lifelong Waltham resident was a passionate guitar player who played in the band, The Quintones.

WALTHAM, MA – Harold Manley, of Waltham, passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on Monday April 24th, 2017 at Care One Center of Newton at the age of 65.

Born on April 30, 1951 in Arlington; son of late James J. Manley Sr. and Helen (McPhee) Manley, John was a lifelong resident of Waltham.

John was a graduate of Waltham High School with the Class of 1969.

For many years John was a member of the Lexington Lodge of Elks. In his spare time he enjoyed walking, bike riding and Gardening. His true passion was playing the guitar and for years played in a band "The Quintones".

John is survived by his devoted & loving brother Arthur F. Manley Sr. and his wife Patrice of Gardner. In addition he is survived by many nieces, nephews and a lifelong friend Steve Graceffa.

Relatives & Friends are respectfully invited to attend a Funeral Service in celebration of John's Life in the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons Memorial, 773 Moody Street, Waltham on Friday morning April 28th at 10:00 a.m.

Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Waltham. Visiting Hours will be held in the Brasco & Sons Memorial Funeral Home on Thursday April 27th from 4 - 7 p.m. Parking attendants will be on duty.

In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made in his memory to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
