Peabody Man Hospitalized After Being Struck Sunday Night

Peabody police said a 41-year-old Peabody man driving a Ford Mustang hit the 58-year-old Peabody pedestrian shortly after 7:30 p.m.

PEABODY, MA β€” A 41-year-old Peabody man driving a Ford Mustang was involved in a crash with a 58-year-old Peabody pedestrian on Forest Street Sunday night.

Peabody Police Captain Dennis Bonaiuto told Patch early Monday afternoon that the victim was conscious when police arrived shortly after 7:30 and taken to Lahey Clinic in Burlington for treatment.

Bonaiuto said the driver, who had not been cited as of early Monday afternoon, was driving a 2014 Ford Mustang.

Bonaiuto said Peabody police, Massachusetts State Police and the State Police Collision Analysis Unit were investigating the crash.
