Waltham's Reagle Music Theatre To Hold Virtual Fundraiser

WALTHAM, MA — A principle of show business is that the "show must go on," but amid a pandemic, entertainment venues including in Waltham, are struggling to make ends meet until they can turn the lights back on and throw open the doors again.

The seats may be empty at the Reagle Music Theatre in Waltham for the first summer in decades amid what would have been it's 52nd season, but Reagle staff and previous cast members are inviting you to join them from their living-room seats for "Entr'Acte," a virtual fundraiser, streaming online this weekend.

J.T. Turner who you may remember from his performance in "La Cage aux Folles" and Mark Linehan of "The Music Man" will host the musical journey through past highlights.

The event will feature performances from the likes of Leigh Barrett, Mara Bonde, Aimee Doherty, Dwayne P. Mitchell, Jennifer Ellis, Yewande Odetoyinbo, Pier Lamia Porter, Scott Wahle and Kimora Yancey, and, yes, appearances by special guests (hint: Broadway stars).
