Traffic Likely On Trapelo Road In Waltham Starting Tuesday

Eastbound traffic will not be permitted on Trapelo Road from Tuesday through Thursday.

WALTHAM, MA β€” Drivers traveling on Trapelo Road this week are likely to see detours and delays amid a paving project that lasts from Tuesday to Thursday, weather permitting.

The City of Waltham said the paving project will run from the intersection at Lexington Street to Smith Street.

During the project, traffic will be detoured off Trapelo Road onto Smith Street, to Lincoln Street, to Lake Street and out to Lexington Street, the city said.

Westbound traffic on Trapelo Road will be permitted to the west of Lexington Street, but eastbound traffic will not be permitted on Trapelo Road at all.

The city said abutters in the area will be allowed to enter and exit through a detour.
