The random attacks prompted Waltham police to send a reverse-911 call to residents Thursday warning them of a man attacking people between 5:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Police described the suspect as a black man between 5 feet 6 inches and 5 feet 10 inches and weighing between 160 and 180 pounds. He was wearing dark clothing during each of the attacks.
"A lot of neighbors are talking about it and are quite frankly scared," one resident told 7News Boston. "I just hope they catch him, itβs not right being attacked at night."
