Waltham to Hold City Wide Cleanup Saturday

The City is looking for volunteers to participate between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m.

WALTHAM, MA - The City of Waltham will hold its yearly city wide cleanup this Saturday, April 30.

The event will run from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Volunteers will be asked to pick up trash, litter and yard waste across the Watch City.

The goal is to fan out across Waltham and clean as many areas as possible, such as parks, streets, sidewalks and the Riverwalks.

Anyone can join up - students, shopkeepers, neighbors, businesses, youth organizations and so on. Volunteers can sign up as individuals or groups.

If interested, contact the City's Consolidated Public Works Department at 781-314-3800 or stop by the offices at 165 Lexington St. To volunteer, email Stewart LaCrosse at slacrosse@city.waltham.ma.us or Janice Deveney at jdeveney@city.waltham.ma.us.
