Waltham Parking Ban Lifted: How To Avoid Getting Your Car Towed

If you parked your car in a school lot because of the emergency parking ban, you have until 8 p.m. to get your car moved.

WALTHAM, MA β€”The Waltham snow emergency parking ban will be lifted as of 6 p.m. Thursday. That means anyone who parked their car in a school parking lot when the ban was put in place, have to move their car by 8 p.m, or your car will be towed.

If you parked in a municipal lot you have until 6 p.m. Friday to move your car.

If you miss the deadline and your car isn't in the lot when you get there. Call the Waltham police non-emergency line: (781) 314-3600.

Remember trash collection was delayed a day. Thursday's trash and recycling will be picked up on Friday. Friday's will be picked up on Saturday.

What was the snow total, anyway? As of 1: 15 p.m. Thursday, the National Weather Service said a trained spotter reported 16 inches.
