Waltham Police Officer Charlie Gryska Funeral Procession Friday

WALTHAM, MA β€” The wake for the late Officer Charles Gryska, who passed away over the weekend, will be Thursday afternoon and his funeral is scheduled for Friday. As a result, police are warning that traffic will be impacted.

"Thursday afternoon expect congestion and parking issues in the upper Moody Street area due to the wake at Brasco Funeral Home between the hours of 2PM and 8PM."

His funeral drive by and escort will be Friday morning, police said.

Expect delays in the upper Moody Street, Newton Street, Beaver Street and Lexington Street area between 9 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.

Gryska leaves behind three small children and his wife, among other friends and family and colleagues. He's only been diagnosed with a brain tumor earlier this year.
