King Boston has announced that Duncan Remage-Healey has joined its team as Director of Advancement and External Affairs. Remage-Healey, who brings nearly two decades of expertise to the position, will cultivate and drive funding to support King Boston’s work that honors Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Coretta Scott King’s philosophies, highlighting the social justice work they did in Boston in the 1950s and 1960s.

With Duncan on our team, we’ll be able to reach more people to uphold the Kings’ vision for a more equitable world,” said Imari Paris Jeffries, executive director, King Boston. β€œI’ve seen firsthand how Duncan has transformed nonprofits and know that his expertise will further our mission.”

β€œJoining an organization like King Boston means more than just the day-to-day work – we are fighting for societal change,” said Remage-Healey. β€œThe impact of β€œThe Embrace” memorial, King Center for Economic Justice, Embrace Ideas festival, and other ongoing initiatives will shift how the community interrogates racism and help get to the root of long-lasting systematic inequalities. I am committed to being a part of confronting structural abuse and violence by helping advance King Boston’s mission and the Kings’ legacy.”
