Waltham is in for a Winter Warm Up This Week

WALTHAM MA - After days of freezing temperatures and snow, Waltham is in for a warm up. Enjoy the warm days while you can because it’s just a break from the usual winter weather, but looks like they will be sticking around a bit.

Tuesday temperatures could reach over 45 degrees and 42 degrees on Wednesday. After that we are looking at 40 degree days for the rest of the week into the weekend and right now Sunday looks like another day where we could see 50 degree temperatures.

As of the current forecast, the warm weather will stay into the beginning of next week, too.

Here’s a look at the current forecast:

• Tuesday: Overcast throughout the day with a high of 46. Mostly cloudy Tuesday night with a low of 25.

• Wednesday: Mostly cloudy until the afternoon with a high of 42. Expect clear skies with a low of 28 degrees Wednesday night.

• Thursday: A mostly sunny day with a high of 42 degrees. A few clouds Thursday night and a low of 25.

• Friday: A mix of clouds and sun early before turning partly cloudy Friday with a high of 41. Friday night mostly clear skies and a low of 28.

• Saturday: Cloudy skies with a high of 40 degrees. Cloudy skies early Saturday night before becoming mostly cloudy with a low of 24.

• Sunday: Intervals of clouds and sunshine and a high of 48 degrees. Partly cloudy skies Sunday night and a low of 31.
