Waltham's 4th Of July Fireworks 2020 Postponed
Waltham's traditional Fourth of July events may be moved, but there are several other ways you can celebrate the holiday safely.
WALTHAM, MA β July 4 is quickly approaching, which means it's time to find out what Fourth of July events are going on near you this Independence Day.
The city will not be hosting 4th of July activities for kids at Prospect Hill or put on a fireworks display at Leary Field, the city announced Monday.
Mayor Jeannette McCarthy has been waiting on news from the governor's office about when the state will again allow larger groups, to officially announce whether those will be canceled. The city is hoping to be able to postpone those until September.
