Watch City Readers

A new diverse literary program funded by the WCC and MassCC

(National Poetry Month)

Coming to you April 11! Watch City Readers is a free literary program funded in part through a grant from the Waltham Cultural Council and the Mass Cultural Council. It includes an interactive show on FB Live on the second Sunday of each month at 6pm: second Sundays at six! Easy to remember!

WCR is a vibrant and inclusive introduction to literary arts. It is geared towards local tweens, teens, and their families. After the live event, it will be archived on my Jessica Lucci Facebook page and will include additional materials such as author interviews, translations, and PDFs. A broad and diverse selection of books and authors will be featured, with a focus on local writers.

I already have a star-studded lineup for you, starting with April 11th’s National Poetry Month Celebration with Cambridge poet, Peter Payack. Join the excitement of poetry and learn how to write your own poem!

This monthly program is provided in part through a grant from the Waltham Arts Council and the Mass Cultural Council. I am dearly grateful for this grant, and for the opportunity to share the literary arts with my community.
