What Waltham Residents Would Miss Most If They Moved
Patch asked readers what they would miss most about Waltham. Here's what your neighbors had to say.

WALTHAM, MA β Patch asked Waltham residents on Facebook Thursday what they would miss about the city if they moved away and many residents answered.
Several people responded that the answer was close to home since they had actually moved away, like Karen Peabody who mentioned the fun on the Common.
"We miss the community events on the common and the local stores on Moody Street," Peabody said

Vera Tatro and Kathy Randel said Waltham Community Farm, and Waltham Field Station would top their list.
"Waltham Field Station and all of the groups that operate out of that property: Waltham Fields Community Farm, Green Rows of Waltham, Waltham Land Trust, Boston Area Gleaners, Grow Native, Mass Farmers Markets, and Boston Climate Experiment," Randel said.

Tatro didn't stop there, she added a few restaurants and some other spice:
"...Over a dozen amazing playground and spray parks that no other town has, Mighty Squirrel, everything on Moody St, Solea, the ability to go out every night to a different restaurant if you wanted to, bTone, Diversity of our city, proximity to Boston, canoeing on the Charles, the Brazilian Supermarket on Main St - Cowboy Market."
Tim Wigle said he's miss Craft Food Hall Project, the restaurant. And Mark Cooper mentioned the riverwalk along the Charles River.
On the flip side, one reader said he knew what he was not going to miss.
"Definitely not the traffic," said Freddy Bako.
