27-Year-Old Matthew Malone Dies After Battle With Addiction

WESTBOROUGH, MA—Matthew P. Malone, 27, died unexpectedly on Friday, October 6, 2017 at home after a long battle with addiction.

Born in Framingham, Matthew has been a lifelong resident of Westborough and was a 2008 graduate of Westborough High School.

He is survived by his mother, Brenda L. (Uhlman) Malone of Westborough, his father and step-mother, Michael and Cynthia Malone of Northbridge, two brothers, Benjamin M. Malone of Westborough and Domenic M. Malone of Northbridge, one sister, Jenna M. Malone of Northbridge; his maternal grandparents, Parker and Nancy Uhlman of Westborough; paternal grandmother, Roberta Malone of Westborough; his girlfriend, Leslie Donovan and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his grandfather, Robert Malone.

His funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 12 at 11:00 A.M. in The Congregational Church of Westborough, 57 West Main St., Westborough.

Calling hours at the David A. Pickering Westborough Funeral Home, 62 West Main St., Westborough, are Wednesday, October 11 from 4 to 7 P.M.
