Mass Pike Bus Fire: 45 Passengers Make It Out Alive
Traffic was backed up at least five miles in the westbound lane of Interstate 90 Wednesday afternoon after a bus fire.

SOUTHBOROUGH - A bus fire shut down part of Interstate 90 in Southborough at about 3:45 p.m. Wednesday, state police said.
Forty-five passengers were evacuated from the bus and no injuries were reported, police said.
The passengers and the driver were transported to the Westborough rest area using a school bus provided by Ashland Police department, police said.Â

The westbound center lane was open as of about 3:40 p.m. but traffic was backed up at least five miles at that time, police said.
WFXT reported the passengers were heading to Mohegan Sun and one man jumped out the back window of the bus.
