Could The Old Regal Cinemas Remain A Movie Theater?
Four proposals have come in for the building that was once the Regal Cinema in Westborough.
WESTBOROUGH, MA—The town opened up bids for the building on Route 9 that formerly housed Regal Cinemas, and so far, three of the four bids include plans for it to remain a theater, according to reports.
The vacant building at 231 Turnpike Road took in bids that range from $2.5 million to just over $5 million, reports Wicked Local Westborough.
Town Manager James Malloy is reviewing the bids and the Westborough Board of Selectmen plan to talk about the proposals at an executive session on Tuesday.
