On July 2, at approximately 11:55 a.m., the responded to East Main Street at Colonial Drive for an accident involving three motor vehicles. The arriving units found three vehicles with extensive damage and one operator with multiple injuries inside one of the vehicles.
The operators of the vehicles were Stephen Hulbert, 57, of Westborough, in an '07 Chevy Trailblazer; Chris Ann McCarthy, 43, of Westborough, in a '10 Acura; and Linda Jean Hall, 56, of 435 North St., Leominster, in an '07 Toyota.

Hulbert was treated at the scene by Westborough Fire Paramedics for non-life-threatening injuries and transported to UMass Medical. McCarthy and Hall were treated at the scene by paramedics from the Westborough and Northborough fire departments and then transported to Marlborough Hospital by Northborough Ambulance.
The investigation revealed that the vehicle driven by Hulbert was heading east on East Main Street. After traveling under the railroad bridge, the vehicle crossed the center line and struck the other two vehicles coming to rest in the westbound lane. According to witnesses, it appeared that Hulbert may have been experiencing a medical condition prior to the accident.
