End Of Year Book Sale Planned At Westborough Library

The library purges lots of its books, and you benefit by getting great deals on them.

WESTBOROUGH, MA—The Friends of the Westborough Public Library is holding their much-anticipated last book sale of 2017 in November. The book sale is open in the library meeting room on Friday, Nov. 17, and Saturday, Nov. 18 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. On Sunday, Nov. 19, it's open from 1-4 p.m.

The volunteers have a large collection of holiday books, CDs and DVDs for sale, said the announcement. In addition, several hundred books for children, young adult, fiction and non-fiction, paperback and DVD sets are on the racks. There is a particularly large selection of cook books, DVDs and CDs.

There is also a collection of Alice in Wonderland books donated to the sale. There will be various maps of Westborough for sale as well. Also, browse the old book collection of Bay State Abrasives news letters. The books will be for sale as well.

Volunteers are always needed for set up on Thursday evening and during the sale. For information or to sign up email FriendsOWPL@gmail.com.

The money raised in the book sale is used to finance programming for the library, Screen on the Green, purchase of BookPage and other staff requests.
