A Field Of Flags To Fill Westborough's Downtown Rotary

The flags represent fallen heroes and the more than 700 veterans or current military members living in Westborough.

WESTBOROUGH, MA—For the first time, Westborough will have a "Field of Flags" to honor and acknowledge the veterans and active military personnel in town.

The Westborough Veterans' Advisory Board is hosting the moving tribute known as the Westborough Rotary Field of Flags, a display of American flags placed on the Rotary starting on Saturday, Nov. 17, until Saturday, Nov. 24.

On the Saturday following Veterans Day, volunteers, including Westborough High School students, scouts and members of the Veterans' Advisory Board, collect the flags from military graves that were placed there on Memorial Day and move them all on to the rotary downtown.
