Friends Of Westborough Support Playground At The Commons
The location provides ample parking, benches for seating, tables for picnicking, paved paths for biking and open green space for free play.

From The Friends of Westborough: The Friends of Westborough, Inc. are pleased to be a Bronze sponsor for the Westborough Playground at the Commons. The Playground at the Commons is a formal town project. Westborough has approximately 2400 children ages 9 years or younger. The majority of playgrounds for their use are at schools which are unavailable during the school day.
The commons provides a location with infrastructure already in place, ample parking, benches for seating, tables for picnicking,paved paths for biking and open green space for free play.
The Friends of Westborough, Inc have supported community members and organizations for
over 30 years. The organization is proud to sponsor the playground for our youngest community members.
The Friends of Westborough, Inc. purpose is to render a program of service, generate greater community interest and perpetrate the dignity and well being of citizens of Westborough, by our efforts, enterprise and endeavor.

The Corporation is self-governed, but works with referral organizations concerned with the well being of the town’s citizens. Recently they provided gift cards for Thanksgiving day baskets for community members, donated to the annual Thanksgiving Day community dinner and helped individuals with financial need.
