GoFundMe Started For Transitional Education Program
Westborough's post-high school transition program is seeking financial support for the final stage of their 'Sugar Shack' project.

WESTBOROUGH, MA- After Westborough schools opened a post-high school transition program for students with special abilities in 2017, it's finally in full swing and ready to make the "Sugar Shack" project a reality.
The program, Bridging Over to Right Opportunities, or BORO, aims to help students with special abilities gain real-world job skills in their home communities. The Sugar Shack project would be a candy and gift store that would serve as an on-site learning lab and training center for students to learn job-related skills in a real business setting.
The Sugar Shack Planning Committee launched a GoFundMe to raise money to set up the physical store, which will be located in downtown Westborough. The GoFundMe page says the location would allow "the entire Westborough community to participate in -- and enjoy -- this unique retail experience."
