Grandmother Who Died in Crash with School Bus Identified

WESTBOROUGH, MA - A grandmother died after her van hit the side of a school bus on West Main Street, police said.

Desiree White, 80, of Plymouth, perished in the tragic crash Wednesday, police said.

Ronald White, 79, of Plymouth was treated at the scene for non-life-threatening injuries and an 11-year-old girl was was hospitalized for minor injuries, WCVB reported.

WCVB reported it took two hours to remove White from the vehicle.

The crash between the van and a school bus shut down West Main Street in the early evening, police said.

The bus was not carrying any students at the time of the crash, police said.
